杜宇慧教授近十年来一直从事人工智能、医学图像处理、大数据分析领域的科研工作,在计算机、信息、医学等学科交叉前沿的脑影像分析领域取得一定成就。主要的研究内容为开发新的脑影像分析方法,从脑影像中发掘精神疾病机制,基于多模态脑影像数据探测新的疾病子型等。

杜宇慧教授2009年9月至2013年1月在中国科学院自动化研究所取得模式识别与智能系统专业博士学位,就读于模式识别国家重点实验室、中法信息及自动化与应用数学联合实验室(国家级国际联合研究中心),师从中国科学院范勇研究员,同时受到国家杰出青年基金获得者、973项目首席科学家蒋田仔研究员的指导。2013年5月至2018年8月,她在美国The Mind Research Network脑影像研究所的医学图像分析实验室先后担任该研究所的博士后和PI(Principal Investigator)研究员职位,师从著名教授Vince D. Calhoun。Calhoun教授的论文引用率11万余次,带领的团队在神经影像领域在国际上享有盛誉。

至今,杜宇慧发表英文文章100多篇,发表在Trends in Neurosciences(一区Top)、NeuroImage(一区Top)、Schizophrenia Bulletin(一区Top)、Pattern Recognition(一区Top)、Human Brain Mapping(二区Top)、Nature旗下Communications Biology、IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics(一区Top)、iScience、Information Sciences、MICCAI、Nature子刊Nature Communications、Nature Medicine等顶级期刊和会议上。其中一篇第一作者文章连续六年为ESI“高被引论文”,另一篇单篇引用率最高的文章的引用次数为389,论文谷歌总引用率为6200,h指数为43,i10指数为71。

杜宇慧,山西大学计算机与信息技术学院三级教授、博士生导师、山西省“百人计划”专家、山西省“三晋英才”科技创新领军人才,连续入选 “全球前2%顶尖科学家” 榜单,获山西省自然科学奖二等奖(第一完成人)。主持国家自然科学基金面上项目“基于脑影像驱动的跨诊断精神疾病聚类研究”、国家自然科学青年基金项目“基于动态脑功能网络分析发掘精神病的影像标志”、山西省留学人员科技活动择优资助项目“基于脑功能网络的精神疾病辅助诊断方法研究 ”、山西省青年科技研究基金面上青年项目“基于静息态脑功能核磁共振图像识别精神分裂症、双相情感障碍和分裂情感性障碍”、山西省“百人计划”项目、山西省“三晋英才”领军人才项目;曾参与国家自然科学基金面上项目“基于脑影像的精神分裂症定性诊断与定量分析的模式识别研究”,以及国家自然科学基金重大研究计划“基于神经影像的脑网络分析方法及其在神经退行性脑疾病研究中的应用”等多项项目。

杜宇慧开发的“组信息指导独立成分分析”脑影像分析方法已被集成到国际上广泛使用的脑影像分析软件Group ICA Toolbox (GIFT)中,为该软件组独立成分分析的三大算法之一,该软件已被下载一万多次。杜宇慧开发的"NeuroMark"脑功能网络分析软件工具包已公开发布在本网站上。杜宇慧两次获得脑影像领域最顶级组织--国际人类脑图谱/脑成像学会(OHBM)颁发的“Trainee Abstract Travel Awards”这一重要奖项,该奖项颁发给在脑科学领域做出突出贡献的年轻学者,获奖率仅为top 5%。杜宇慧提出的组信息指导ICA算法获发明专利和多项软件著作权,开发的软件可满足精神科医生及科研工作者应用要求。杜宇慧参与编著教材一部。

杜宇慧是约30种国际著名杂志和会议的特邀审稿人和两个国际杂志的编委。审理的刊物包括Nature Communications (SCI影响因子约为14.9)、The American Journal of Psychiatry (SCI影响因子约为18.1) 、Schizophrenia Bulletin (SCI影响因子约为9.3)、Neuroimage (神经成像期刊类排名第一)、Human Brain Mapping (神经成像期刊类排名第二)、IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning System、IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering等。在学术活动方面,本人是Brain Imaging Method of Frontiers in NeuroScience and Frontiers in Neurology 杂志的Associate Editor,是中国人工智能学会脑科学与人工智能专委会委员、中国图像图形学会脑谱专委会和医学影像专委会委员、医学图像计算青年探讨会委员、认知科学学会计算神经工程专委会委员、生物医学图像专委会委员,中国生物医学工程学会医学影像工程与技术分会青年委员,山西省医学会医学工程学专业委员会委员。2015年,杜宇慧在EMBC国际会议(美国)进行口头报告。2019年,杜宇慧论文在ISMRM国际会议(加拿大)进行口头报告。2020年,杜宇慧受邀在第七届医学图像计算青年研讨会上做报告。2021年4月,杜宇慧受邀在雁西湖医学人工智能论坛做学术报告,8月在国际复合医学工程学会论坛做学术报告,9月在医学人工智能大会上做学术报告;主持医学人工智能大会的“神经影像人工智能”分会场。杜宇慧在The Mind Research Network研究所工作期间带领NeuroMark团队下的博士后和博士生从事科研工作。杜宇慧与The Mind Research Network、耶鲁大学、德州大学西南医学中心、哈佛大学、中国科学院等国际知名单位合作,进行精神疾病的医学影像标志探索研究。
